Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DashZest ("DashZest", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website and analytics-reporting service (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
DashZest is an analytics and reporting tool that lets you connect your social media, advertising, search, and web-analytics accounts to view your metrics in one place and generate reports. For any privacy question, contact us at privacy@dashzest.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information you provide directly: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and billing details processed by our payment provider.
Connected platform data. When you connect an account (for example Facebook Pages, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, or Meta Ads), you authorize us through that platform's official login (OAuth) to access read-only analytics data for the accounts you choose — such as follower counts, post and video performance, reach, engagement, website traffic, search queries, and advertising performance. We request the minimum permissions needed to produce your reports. We never request permission to post, publish, or modify content on your accounts.
Usage data. Basic technical information such as log data and the pages you visit, used to operate and improve the Service.
3. How we use information
We use your information solely to provide the Service: to authenticate you, retrieve the metrics you asked us to connect, display dashboards, generate the reports you request, deliver scheduled reports you set up, process payments, and provide support. We do not sell your personal information or your connected platform data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Storage, security and retention
Access tokens for connected accounts are encrypted at rest. We store the metrics we retrieve so your dashboards and historical reports load quickly. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may disconnect any platform at any time, and you may delete your account and all associated data as described in Section 7.
5. Sharing with third parties
We share data only with service providers that help us run DashZest — for example our cloud hosting provider, our email-delivery provider, and our payment processor — and only to the extent needed to provide the Service. These providers are bound to protect your data. We may disclose information if required by law.
6. Platform-specific terms
Our use of information received from platform APIs adheres to each platform's developer policies, including the Meta Platform Terms, the Google API Services User Data Policy (including its Limited Use requirements), the LinkedIn API Terms, and the YouTube API Services Terms of Service. Data obtained from these APIs is used only to provide user-facing features within DashZest and is never used for advertising or sold to third parties.
7. Your rights and data deletion
You can access, correct, or export your data, disconnect any connected platform, or permanently delete your account and all associated data. To delete your data, follow the instructions on our Data Deletion page or email privacy@dashzest.com. We will action verified deletion requests within 30 days.
8. International users
DashZest is operated from India and your data may be processed there and by our service providers in other countries. We apply the protections described in this policy regardless of where data is processed.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you by email.
